Happy New Year 2008! We're doing fine, and we certainly hope that all of you are too! First off, we have a few shows we'd like to tell you about.
We had a great night at the Flying Cloud Folk Club in Toronto on January 13, 2008. Thanks to all of you who came out to hear us, and a big-up to all of the volunteers at that club who make it happen every week. They are celebrating 25 years, and we thank them for a wonderful night and heartily congratulate them on their anniversay! Also, It was our first show since Bob had his rotator cuff operation, and he was flying! It's really nice to be up and running
Our show on January 25th at St. Paul's Presbyterian in Hamilton was a fantastic night! There were at least 200 people there. What a great way to kick off the year; thanks to all of you who made it out! A big thank-you to all the folks who served up the tea and goodies after, and a special thanks to Reverend Jim Dickey who made it happen, and who is retiring in June from his position at St. Paul's. Good luck Jim!!!!
We were at the Georgetown Masonic Lodge on Saturday the 26th, and that was a great night too! Meat pies, tatties and neeps, and of course, haggis! We're booked to play it agin next year, Saturday January 24th, 2009. See you there!
